The vocabulary of Talossan can be viewed in two ways on this site:
- El Treisour (“The Treasure”) is Talossan’s lexicon. This is essentially a Talossan-to-English word list. Be aware, however, that because Talossan is not English, the meaning of many words is only approximate, and many Talossan words may translate to the same English word and vice-versa. Some Talossan words can be used to express thoughts that take multiple words to form in English (for example, fieschada is the Talossan noun that can be best translated in English as “love at first sight”.
- L’Översteir (“The Translator”) allows you to type in any English or Talossan word, and (through an automated lookup in the Treisour), receive its translation in the other language. Additionally, this translator can be instructed to conjugate any verb into any of its forms, to pluralise any noun or adjective, allowing you to see all inflections of a root word.
While multi-word Talossan phrases are not listed in the lexicon (which lists only each single Talossan word and some common declined forms of those words), the translator does list many such phrases. At present, etymological information is not provided by these vocabulary resources.
